The Layers of Lighting

March 12th, 2009 · No Comments · Lighting Tips, Room Lighting

Just like clothing, lighting looks best in layers.  Lighting is one of the main factors in design that makes all of the other elements work well together.  By adding layers to your home’s lighting, you add depth and dimension to your entire space.  Lighting is generally broken up into three distinct layers; ambient, task and accent.
